Tom Gellert

Tom Gellert began his career as Export Sales-Regional Manager for Vello, SRL, a cheese exporter in Italy, before moving into investment banking at Deutsche Bank, focusing on financing and M&A advisory. He later joined the Gellert Global Group, overseeing strategic investments, M&A activities, and leading Atalanta’s Sales, Business Development, and Supply Chain. Tom has been influential in the specialty food industry, particularly in the Dairy/Deli sector. He serves on multiple boards, including the Cheese Importers Association and Cornell University's Advisory Board. Tom earned a BS from Cornell in 1994, an MBA in 1999, and a J.D. in 2000. He lives in Manhattan with his wife, Melissa, and their children, Devon and Levi.
